Tuesday, 2/29 14 Weeks Out

Log Clean & Press Every Rep – 5/3/1+, 110 x5, 125 x3, 145 x3, 85 x12 in 60s

Z Presses – 5/3/1+, 65 x5, 75 x3, 85 x5

Circus dumbbell – 5 x 10, 50, 50, 50, 50, 50

Super Ram Bench – 5 x 10, 165, 165, 165, 165, 175

Bradford Presses – 5 x 10, 45, 45, 45, 45, 45

WG Pullups – 5 x 10, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue

Db Flys – 5 x 10, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20

Sandbag Springs – 5x(1:00/0:30), 3c/2.5s, 2.5c/2s, 2.1c/2s, 2.1c/2s, 2c/2s

Log felt heavy today. I need to work on being faster from rack to press. Got to get it off my chest. Three at 145 isn’t terrible, but much less than I wanted. I went to 85# for my speed set and still hit 12 in 60s.

Z Presses are tough. Got a quad cramp on the 5th rep of 85 and decided to stop there.

Super Ram felt great today, and I pushed the last set up to 175. Circus db was so many reps, but it’s getting better I think. Starting to fatigue here at this volume.

Bradfords are very challenging. Wide grip pullups are coming along, but this level of volume is tough for me. Flys are feeling good.

The sandbag sprints are tough, but they’re definitely helping with my pick speed. I still have a lot of work to do on that. Think I’ll do these with the 175 next cycle.
