Tire Flips – 5(1:15/0:30), 15, 12, 11, 10, 12

I strongly considered postponing today’s session. I was really unmotivated to get started today and wasn’t feeling very strong. My head wasn’t in it at first, and I struggle to get focused on days like today.

When I got around to pulling, I finally got my head on straight. I pulled 330 for 8 on my 1+ set and I’ll settle for that. I wanted ten, but didn’t quite have it today.

Box squats felt on point today. I nailed ten reps at 215. I finally feel like my back squat is coming back to me.

Barbell rows are feeling great and front squat was much better today. Stepups went well and I’ll add some weight next time. Monster good mornings were solid too. I think I can push the weight here more.

My finisher went well. I like the 75s rounds, because they really challenge me. I’m really fighting to get to the end of the round. I was very happy to feel nice and explosive, especially in the first round.
