Wednesday, 10/26 B Week

w/u – light jog, zombies, fire hydrants

2” Deficit DL – 3 x 5/3/1+, 225 x5, 255 x3, 295 x10

Squat – 3 x 5/3/1+, 140 x5, 160 x3, 180 x10

Db Row – 5 x 10, 70, 70, 70, 70, 70

Core Blaster Rainbows – 5 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10

Split Leg Bulgarians – 5 x 10, 15, 15, 15, 15, 15

Seated Good Mornings – 5 x 10, 75, 75, 85, 85, 85

I made it.  I was feeling a little beat up to start the session, but deadlifting always makes everything better.  I was actually feeling good enough to bump the weight up a bit to 295 and still hit 10 reps easily.

The squats felt pretty good too.  The weight is fairly light, but I’m still having to focus on driving off both legs evenly for squatting movements.  All other movements feel fine, but if I don’t watch the squats, I end up driving off my right leg a lot more.  Ten at 180 was pretty easy though.  I’m ready to get back to some real weight next cycle.

Dumbbell rolls are feeling solid.  My lats are noticeably stronger.  The coreblaster rainbows are feeling explosive.

The split leg Bulgarians are still work, but I should probably go up next cycle.  To get lefty to catch up, I’m doing an extra rep each set.

Seated good mornings are feeling solid.  I really like all the hamstring involvement that I’m getting.  I’ll push these higher next cycle as well.

I skipped a finisher this time. It is my final high volume day and now it’s time for some recovery. The hot tub is waiting for me at home.
