So, I attempted to do this training session yesterday as scheduled, and it just wasn’t there. So, I went back after it today. I won’t say it went well, but it went, and for now I’ll call that a win. Yesterday, I just wasn’t feeling great. It was a combination of bad nutrition, a little sore from the MAS Wrestling demo, and just general fatigue. It’s been a while since my last Deload week and I’m feeling it.
Monday, just cleaning the log was work. Work to the point I ended up bailing on the set. So coming back for an easy 2 on Tuesday was a win. It’s still underperforming, but I’m not too worried. I’m definitely worn down.
Speed log was solid with 8 @ 110#. In a stunning reversal, I think I like recleaning the log every time now more than press away.
Super Ram Bench was off a bit, but I ground out the reps even if I didn’t have it quite as heavy as last session. Scap retractions are feeling very crisp. Z presses were a grind. The rollouts are feeling very good. I’m make those harder soon.
I skipped the OH Yoke since I was still not feeling great. One more session, then a nice Deload week to recover.
