Tuesday, 5/2

Ladder Drills – 4 x 6, lead foot out, in/out, in/out/backwards, lead foot out

Cone Shuttle Drill – 4 x 3

Side Bends – 2 x 15, 25, 25

Hanging Leg Raises – 3 x 15, 15, 15, 15

I am enjoying the dedicated conditioning day, though I had to cut the HIIT as I was short on time.  I’m going to start doing some of the Friday program sprint work on Tuesdays I think, alternating weeks.  I am not available to train on Fridays, but I do like sprints, so I’ll move some to Tuesdays.

I didn’t feel particularly fast in the ladder, but I kept on grinding.  Cone drills were similarly slow, but it’s not unusual for me to have slow feet after a heavier squat day.

I hit the side bends and HLR, which are getting easier.

I did take a lot of time today finishing my loading table.  Now that it is compete, I’ll have more time on Tuesdays.
