BW Skulls – 3 x Max, PP-2 x 10, PP-2 x 10, PP-2 x 10
Band Pushdowns w/2s hold regular grip – 2 x 10, Purple, Purple
Band Pushdowns w/2s hold hammer grip – 2 x 10, Purple, Purple
Db lateral raise – 3 x 12, 12, 15, 15
Still focused on getting back into the nutritional groove. My energy level has been a bit low.
Log was only ok today. I hit 150 for 8 on the first set, recleaning twice, but only managed 5 on the second set. I tweaked my forearm and the negative was really bothering it. I don’t think it’s too serious, but didn’t see a good reason to irritate it. Luckily, I had a chiropractic appointment this afternoon and mentioned the trouble I was having with log negatives, and how left felt like he was hanging low. Feeling much better post-adjustment. The rest of my session was solid. 3 board press was a little tough on the forearm, but otherwise good. The BW skulls felt easy.
Band pushdowns fried the triceps and the lateral raises were tough when I increased the weight.
A little annoyed with the lack of reps on log, but it was bound to slow a bit from the PR every session pace I was running.
