My Story

As an athlete I enjoyed a lot of success. When I was young, there was swim team and soccer. In high school I fell in love with lifting, and then as an adult I became a powerlifter and strongwoman, opening the original Meta Performance Center, LLC location in 2012.

I held both national and international powerlifting titles and never missed the podium in either sport during my competitive days.

At a national strongwoman competition in 2016 I sustained a life changing injury when the spotter was too close and I stepped on his foot during a 400 pound Fingal Finger. In addition to the physical damage, I sustained a Brain Injury that ended my competitive career.

In my recovery, I was introduced to somatic movement. I experienced improvement that I had long since given up on. Now I use my knowledge and experience to help others remotely or in person.
